Douglas County School System Debuts New App!

Superintendent Trent North and the Douglas County School System have unveiled a new mobile app designed to streamline communication between the district and the community.
The mobile app is designed to give parents, students and employees instant access to school system news, system-wide events, detailed bus information, school and department contact information and more.
Superintendent Trent North says this app will give parents and the community the opportunity to be more engaged and actively involved in the education process. “Many of the parents in our community regularly use mobile technology to seek out the information they need.  With this app, we are putting important everyday information directly in the hands of parents and students. This new app is designed to provide answers to almost any question that a parent may want to ask about our school system.  It also has the potential to be a lifeline in the event of severe weather or crisis when systems are down or phone lines are not working."
Getting started with the new FREE app is easy. To begin, search in your phone's app store for "Douglas County Schools" and look for the familiar blue and yellow five-star logo. After downloading the app, users will then have the option to choose the schools, information, and alerts that they would like to receive.
The new app is available for both Apple and Android users and works on any tablet or device with a web browser. New Douglas County School System App
