The top teacher for the Douglas County School System for the 2018-2019 school year will be named at the upcoming Teacher of the Year (TOTY) Reception! The school system is proud of each of its Teachers of the Year representing all 34 schools in the district. There are six semifinalists with two each from the elementary, middle, and high school levels. At the reception, three finalists will be named representing each grade level, and then the top Teacher of the Year for the district will be announced!
