On Saturday, April 27th, a group of talented students took part in the West Metro Foreign Language Contest held at Douglas County High School. The event brought together middle and high school students from Douglas County and the surrounding areas to showcase their language skills.
During the contest, students were interviewed in their chosen foreign language for up to 5 minutes. The interviews were designed to assess their proficiency, comprehension, and ability to communicate effectively in the language. Each participant received a certificate and a ribbon corresponding to their performance level.
The following students represented Turner Middle School at the event: Paisley Williams, Deshira Hubert, Jordan Batts, Brandon Flores, Renaye Asinor, Salvador Fuentes, Angela Mendoza, Melissa Flores, Aubria Whatley, Rosa Andrade, Alexa Molina, Tatum Boykin, Ja'Quez Winzy, Brittany Gonzalez-Garibay, Leah Cebrian, Emmanuel Arredondo, Delilah Duke, and Chi Vuyo.
