Factory Shoals Elementary School is gearing up to celebrate its 2026 GMAS Spirit Week, a fun-filled series of themed days designed to encourage students, build confidence, and boost morale ahead of the Georgia Milestones assessments.
Beginning Monday, April 20, all students and staff are invited to participate in daily dress-up themes that promote positivity, school spirit, and excitement for testing success.
Here’s a look at each day’s theme:
Monday, April 20 – Suit Up for Success: Wear your Sunday’s best or “dressed to the nines” attire to start the week strong and confident.
Tuesday, April 21 – Giddy Up! It’s Testing Time: Show off your best western attire, including cowboy boots and hats.
Wednesday, April 22 – Knock it Out of the Park: Wear Atlanta Braves gear or baseball attire to represent teamwork and hitting your goals.
Thursday, April 23 – Hats Off to High Scores: Top it off with your favorite hat as we celebrate all your hard work.
Friday, April 24 – Our Future is Bright: Wear your favorite college team shirt or jersey to highlight future aspirations.
Monday, April 27 – Don’t Sleep on Your Potential: Wear school-appropriate pajamas (no slippers) and come ready to succeed.
This exciting week is all about building confidence, reducing test anxiety, and reminding students that they are fully prepared to shine. Factory Shoals Elementary encourages all students to participate and show their school spirit as they prepare to ace the GMAS.
