Congratulations to Dorsett Shoals Elementary School, which has been selected as this year's GLMA Exemplary Library Media Program for Elementary! This honor is a testament to the hard work of media specialist Tracy Scaglione and media clerk Barbara Camacho, both of whom bring a love of books and reading to the students at DSES. #DCSSProud

Douglasville Police Officer Stephens had a great time as part of our career day. He got to show the kids his patrol vehicle and talk to them about his job. He also got a photograph with a student who dressed up as a police officer and Douglas County School System Resource Officer Tankins.

Annette Winn Elementary Counselor Dr. Corlissa Wilson has been recognized as Counselor of the Year for the Douglas County School System. Congratulations, Dr. Wilson!
