The College and Career Institute’s senior Trinity Grier competed in the job interview category at the CCI student Trinity Grier shows of her awards from the SkillsUSA State Championship.recent SkillsUSA Region 3 event against 16 other high school competitors where she earned an outstanding 2nd place overall. Her performance earned her a spot at the SkillsUSA State Championships scheduled for Feb. 19-21 in Atlanta.

“By mastering the SkillsUSA STAR Method and demonstrating exceptional Integrity under pressure, Trinity impressed the judges with her professionalism and communication skills,” said CCI Assistant Principal Kimberly Brown. “Douglas County CCI’s SkillsUSA chapter is incredibly proud to be represented by her world-class poise, preparedness, and dedication.” Brown added.

The SkillsUSA Championships is the premier showcase of Georgia's most highly skilled career and technical education students. It is one of the largest hands-on workforce development programs in the state with a mission to empower students to become skilled professionals, career-ready leaders and responsible community members.
