More than 40 middle and high school students from the Douglas County School System have been
selected to participate in the Georgia Music Educators Association 7 District Honor Band.
The District 7 Honor Band will take place Feb. 5-7 at Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School and Ringgold High School with a culminating concert on Feb. 7 at Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High.
District 7 includes schools from 15 counties, including Douglas, in northwest Georgia.
