Students at Arbor Station Elementary recently had the opportunity to experience the powerful words of Stevon Lester, known as the voice of the next generation of leaders.
With his dynamic delivery and inspiring messages, Lester motivated the school’s young learners to dream big, believe in their potential and always build other people up instead of tearing them down, Arbor Station Principal Dr. Emily Felton said.
Lester’s visit was more than just an assembly, Felton said, it was a call to action for students to embrace kindness, resilience, and ambition.
“His stories and encouragement resonated deeply with our students, sparking enthusiasm and a renewed sense of purpose,” she said.
As part of the visit, third- through fifth-grade students received “I promise to build people up” bracelets to serve as a reminder to promote kindness, positivity, and teamwork within their school.
“Stevon Lester’s words have planted seeds of confidence and ambition in our students’ hearts,” Felton said. “It’s inspiring to see our students realize their own greatness at such an early age."
