The Douglas County Lady Tigers hope to be competitive this year under second-year Head Softball Coach Kenya Fields.
“A big goal that I have is to hopefully have my team establish a good rapport, a good bond so they trust each other off the field and that translates to on-field success,” Fields said at the recent DCSS Fall Athletic Media Day at Legacy Arena.
Fields highlighted catcher and utility player Makayla Pickett and senior Kaylyn Arnold, who is the only senior on the team.
