Every child deserves the right to continue the family tradition of educational excellence or to be first to start it.” Mr. North believes in community involvement and is looking forward to becoming a citizen of Douglas County.

“I appreciate how blessed I am to be in this position. The Douglas County School System has a tradition of excellence and abundant support from the community. Graduation rates and test scores have been rising over the last few years, and students and teachers are earning impressive honors and awards. Financially, the school system is sound. I look forward to not only continuing the tradition of excellence, but also pushing us to even greater heights.”
