PIE is pleased that the latest edition of GreyStone Power Corporation's Power Line Podcast focuses on ways GreyStone Power gives back to their local schools. Rita Wilson, human resources manager for GreyStone Power and a volunteer board director and officer for PIE, is interviewed on the podcast. Ms. Wilson is no stranger to the Douglas County School System. She and her colleagues have organized recognition events for teachers and students, served as judges for Science Fairs and other student competitions, participated in Job Shadow days, mentored students, served on advisory councils, sponsored many events at the school and District level, and so much more.

In the podcast, Ms. Wilson shares information about the importance of businesses supporting community schools and ways to get involved. She also emphasizes that partnerships can be very rewarding for the volunteers giving of their time and talents.

GreyStone Power has done so much for the Douglas County School System that PIE named the cooperative a Partner of Excellence Legacy award winner in 2020.

PIE offers a special thank you to Ms. Wilson and GreyStone Power for being wonderful partners.
