WES Careers on Wheels

WES Students Learn About New Careers
Posted on 05/18/2022
Students at Winston Elementary School got a chance to learn about future professions in a unique way, at our “Careers on Wheels” event.

This event took place during our College and Career Awareness week. The career on wheels day was designed to teach our students about professionals who make their living on four or more wheels.

Each class was assigned to various stations. All of our students had the opportunity to visit each vehicle in their station to learn about different careers. A truck driver, lineman, plumber, Police K-9 unit, and professionals from other fields gave our students hands-on experience on their day to day careers.

Our career representatives encouraged our students to focus on school, stay out of trouble, and to do their very best. While the time to make career decisions is a long way for our wildcats, they are our next generation of future leaders and innovators! WES Careers on Wheels

“Our Wildcats recognize that with the support of their parents, teachers and community, their possibilities are endless,” said principal Chelsie Goodman!
