Cabot Creamery Honors Teachers

Cabot Creamery Co-operative Gifts Have District Staff Saying “Cheese” and Smiling
Posted on 01/11/2021

The farm families of Cabot Creamery Co-operative know that public school teachers and staff are working harder than ever to ensure that students continue to grow and learn! To say thank you, the co-op planned to give away 100-$25 gift boxes to district staff through a lottery drawing included in the November staff newsletter. This wonderful Partner in Education (PIE) decided to give a gift box to all 190 people who entered the drawing! Each box included packages of Pepper Jack and Vermont Sharp cheese, an eco tote, cheese slicer and cutting board. The co-op’s contribution to our staff through this giveaway is almost $5,000 before shipping costs are added.

Liz McSpiritt, marketing programs manager for the co-op, said, "thank you for working hard to ensure that all students continue to learn and grow."

“I so appreciate Cabot Creamery for honoring teachers,” said Cyndi Chappel, LEAP teacher at Mason Creek Middle School. “My afternoon was extra special with these treats. Thank you for helping teachers feel appreciated, valued and worthy.”

Cabot Creamery is owned by 800 dairy farm families throughout New England and New York and is committed to the planet, its people, and returning profits to its farmer owners. Learn more at #RandomActsOfCheddar #CabotCreameryCooperative
