DCSS to Honor Superintendent with "Puttin' on the Pritz" Fundraiser back button

Superintendent Dr. Gordon Pritz will retire from the Douglas County School System on May 31. A fan of the performing arts, Dr. Pritz will be honored on May 18 with a performance featuring over 125 students from all five high schools. Acts will include scenes from “Mary Poppins,” “The Fifteen Minute Hamlet,” “Hairspray,” “Bring It On,” and more.

“Puttin’ on the Pritz” will take place May 18, 6:30 p.m. in the New Manchester High School Theater (4925 Hwy. 92/166, Douglasville). The community is invited to the performance as well as the post-performance dessert reception. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students. All net proceeds will benefit the fine arts at the five high schools.

Tickets can be purchased on line at or at the door on the evening of the event. Sponsorship opportunities start at $50 and include an invitation to a pre-performance reception for sponsors only.
