The purpose of the Honors Program is to meet the needs of students in the subject areas in which they are highly able and highly motivated.  The goal is to appropriate challenge all students to their optimal level of success.  Criteria for student entry into the Honors Program includes teacher recommendations and a grade of 90 in the prerequisite course OR 75th percentile on the most recent norm-referenced test in the most closely related area to the Honors course. Any student may request to take an honors course.
